Web Designer

I am a highly motivated, confident professional, with good organisational skills. I am looking for a permanent Web Designer position within the West Midlands. I have over 2 years experience in e-industry environments and a First Class honours design degree from Wolverhampton University.

I am used to working both on my own and in teams for external clients and internal marketing departments, taking briefs for a wide variety of media work including Ecommerce / Brochure based Websites and designing for Print.

Skills:

• Web Design: Excellent understanding of HTML/XHTML and CSS.
• Practical experience of implementing JavaScript based jquery / scriptaculous functionality into a website environment.
• Conversant and passionate about Webs Standards and W3C compliance.
• Good understanding of design and implementation for Ecommerce environments.
• SEO: Experience optimising websites for Search Engines whilst simultaneously optimising them for users/clients.
• Ability to work all stages of a project from Inception to Completion.

April 2007 - September 2009: E2E Solutions.

2+ years as Web Designer for E2E Solutions ( www.e2esolutions.co.uk ) as part of the design team. My responsibilities included : Liaissing with clients, design and xhtml/css integration of Brochure and Ecommerce Web sites, banner ad design and implementation including javascript / flash, various size advertisments for print, w3c standards adherence, logo design and quoting for new work.
